Proposal for Xinyi A12 Hotel Development

The clients aimed to establish one of the finest urban accommodation complexes in Xinyi District A12 land in Taipei. In collaboration with Royal Management Consultant Co., we provided a design proposal based on the key elements stated on spatial management and market analysis report. The 9,762㎡ site consisted of a hotel building, guest rooms, amenity spaces, commercial facilities, ballrooms, gym, indoor swimming pool, club, galleries, and 500 units of hotel apartment.

The design took an overlay approach in order to satisfy intricate functional requirements and circulatory systems. By placing urban perspectives and characteristics into design thinking, the building complex differentiated itself with the majority hotel development projects.

By creating lightness and crispness on the building massing, commercial activities were connected from ground floor to the rest of the complex, which greatly enhanced functional possibilities and spatial potential for the interior programs. Spaces such as wedding, ballrooms, accommodation, and offices are upgraded to enhance interaction, leisure opportunity, and event quality. Through delicate façade design, the building expressed an elegant attitude to the surrounding urban environment.
