The design concept drew the image of Ningbo’s geographical features, 3 rivers nexus, onto the skyline, the change of geometric vocabulary and material of the building volume.
The main building is 100-meter high, forming a new landmark of the surrounding leisure & commercial area, in Haishu district with the nearby Nanyuan Hotel. The volume of the podium building extends to the road and open space are at lower level for pedestrian. At night, the light could easily reflect and weaving out via the cladding and yet becomes “urban spotlight” of the city.
In space and circulation design, lobby connects to both retail and office. Such arrangement helps users to differentiate the circulation without disturbing each other.
