ASUSTek Computer Headquarters Complex

To meet domestic development needs, ASUSTek bought additional property near its present factory in Guandu for a new headquarters building and production plant, consisting of three major areas: a Headquarters Administration/Research & Development Center, A Staff Recreation Center, and a Production Factory.

Our design adopts a low ground coverage plan to achieve maximum outdoor open space. The three principal structures are connected by the entrance lobby and covered passages which forms a landscaped center court. We hope to preserve the natural scenery of Guandu while also establish a local landmark which will express the high-tech image of our client.

The Factory has a simple mass as a result of its functional requirement, while the Administration Building is both taller and more massive than the two other structures and designed as a multi-faceted building to mitigate its size. The Recreation Center and the Administration Building share a common lobby which faces the principal entrance way, with a lively, curved exterior wall for additional interest. Exterior walls are finished with stone veneer, aluminum and glass, without decorative adulteration, to achieve an image of precision, efficiency and cleanliness.
