The construction of the new Cancer Medical Building designed by JJP held groundbreaking on August 12th. JJP was first asked to contribute with the its expertise to Taitung’s healthcare resources twenty years ago, by designing the Taitung Christian Hospital’s comprehensive medical building.

The design for the Cancer Medical Building consist of 2 levels below grade and 5 above, including linear accelerators for radiotherapy to offer additional advanced cancer treatment resources. At its completion, the hospital will also play a key role unifying future programs such as prevention, healing and caring of cancer for local residents.
