J.J. Pan founder Mr. Joshua Jih Pan received an invitation from the Taichung Builders’ Club (TBC) to give a speech at their banquet. Moderated by TBC members, local land developers, this monthly banquet had a theme of the relationship between humans and architecture, and how society changes. Earlier this month, the chairman of TBC came from Taichung in person to invite Mr. Pan, winner of National Award for the Arts, to deliver this speech.

“Good design is rooted in architects’ high-standard academic background, and good business starts from common social education” commented Mr. Pan in his speech. He further centered this idea to encourage both architects and clients to bring more positive effects to the society. Before Mr. Pan’s conclusion, he invited the Director of Strategic Planning, Ms. Genie Huang and Associate Architect David Lee to come up on stage and share news of their ongoing projects, creating more active discussion after the speech.
