Joshua Pan FAIA was featured in a United Daily News column, Darenyang(大人漾), which discussed topics and research related to elderly life and health in recent years.
Mr. Pan believes as people age, they accumulate experience and wisdom that can inspire and benefit the young generation. The research “Better Living for Seniors” is inspired by this concept. By adopting universal design, the research incorporates the needs for all to make home interactive learning space, and it also thrives to achieve the prospect of mutual living of the young and elderly.
Such a concept is manifested in the working space at JJP, which actively encourages designers of different generations to interact and inspire each other in order to create the best possible architectural design.
