The “TSMC 12P7 Office Building” designed by JJP was granted the Award for Outstanding Green Building Design Award, on December 14th. This award was received by principal-in-charge of the project, Jong-Yu Cheng.

The project is based on the concept of grouping, creating an ecological green axis to connect all building elements; the team aimed to bring a natural environment to the site. The green axis also extends into the building’s exterior appearance and interior spaces, combined with educational programs to create a sustainable architectural image. This project has also earned US LEED NC Gold and EEWH Diamond.

On the day of the ceremony, Chungwei Su, one of JJP’s principals, was also awarded the ‘Green Building Development Contribution Award’ for the committee’s long-term commitment to talent training and industry-university collaboration in promoting green building education and development.
